Turkish Navy
Anyone in the Bahcelli/Esentepe area now, look out to sea as there are in excess of 35 assorted Turkish Navel vessels moored here in the bay, and looks like more arriving. Spectacular sight on the 50th anniversary of the Turkish landing party.

Yes the first came yesterday and gradually adding to it. I loved to see the two flags they were flying up and down with and the fireworks at Escape Beach last night at 11.53 were great, the pause just before the Big Bang at the end made me jump,

Re: Turkish Navy
I've just come in from sitting on the front terrace for well over an hours with my Bins on and watching them all pass. Absolutely great and wished I knew more about them. There was one boat right in front of our place and obviously they were "rescuing" sailors from little boats into the larger one. What was great about half an hour ago, I was glued to two Subs when suddenly they disappeared beneath the sea for about ten mins max and then suddenly popped up again. Then of course it was the 12ish choppers that flew so low over the mountain tops just behind us. A terrific display all round and they are to be congratulated. and will be remembered.
And now Mr President of Turkey, can I have some water more regularly. My plants have all died, yet again.
