Fun Run and SPOT Easter Fair

If you wonder what all the work on the Lapta Coastal path is for .......it's SPOT's Fun Run & Easter Fair Sunday follow the signs on the new road to the pathway stalls open from 10am. with Line Dancers, Kite Festival, spectator seating, loads of food, entrance FREE, come and support the competitors or Run/Walk yourself registration 9-10.30am for your numbers or at Lambousa on Sat.
Don't forget it is free entrance with some 50 stalls booked, and a bouncy castle, funfair, kite stall. - stalls open 10am / kite Festival after Fun Run

All under 16 - 5tl Adults (16+) 10tl
Distances 5 & 10km 5 & 10 km - Walk or Run

Under 8's - distances 5km - 5tl & 1.5km - Free

Gold, Silver & Bronze Prizes for 5 & 10 km races in all age groups.

Hi there, if you head west out of Girne and keep going through Alsancak, Lapta you will see that the main road is closed at The Haci Ali Hotel, but there is a detour marked to take drivers up through Lapta and down on the other side of the road closure. You will come down from Lapta close to where The Sempati Hotel/JKs etc are and again, it will be clearly signposted where to go. If you know Sardunya bar/restaurant it's very close to that.

Hope we all find it. I havne't been there before either, but I too have bene given instrucitons, so now we can all find it. See you there. The weatherpromises to bve good, and I might even dig out some 'shades' just in case my winter eyes can't take the sunshine so early!

Bring plenty of money cos there is lots to buy including a kite!
