Veezynet
Anybody out there using this Internet provider? I have been with them for a number of years and always been good and helpful but for the last couple of weeks I have not been able to contact them on email and had no response to WhatsApp messages since last Friday!!

I use them Waddo. Numbers I have for WhatsApp are 0533 8617650, Call Centre 0533 8877650 and also 0542 8507650.
I last saw them about a week or so ago, when there was an electricity supply problem at the nearby mast, not had reason to be in touch since.

Thanks for that, I have them on WhatsApp but might not be the same number. Not had contact since Friday but they are reading the messages and not answering at all - maybe the problem is to hard - lol. Will try the call centre when I have the time.

`That last number is the one I have always used on WhatsApp but for some reason they are just ignoring my chats since I asked for assistance last Friday, I even emailed them them at their support email address but again have had no response. I would not mind but have already paid them for 14 months of future service, may just have to look for another supplier now as the Internet download speeds drop to unusable here after around 18:00 every night and whenever there is a big football match on at the bars in the next village! Maybe they have equipment problems but it would be nice to know what is the problem. I don't mind working with them and understand the technical difficulties faced out here and happy to work with them but can't even do that if they continue to ignore everything - not good practise.

Re: Veezynet
That's not sounding good at all Waddo, I've always got a reply the same day to Whatsapp messages, usually within an hour or so. I have noticed internet dropping more frequently lately, which it didn't use to do. Afraid that I don't know about speeds at night as I usually download and watch stuff, rather than stream, so just a bit of browsing maybe of an evening. I believe they are part of Nethouse, or at least piggyback on to Nethouse masts...something like that.
Hope that you manage to get in touch with them tomorrow.

If anyone has been having serious problems with Haypen then the major road works on the Alsancak to Lapta have been the usual problem. Yesterday someone very kindly dug up the wiring in the road for the third time in three weeks. Usually from 4 to 6 hours before engineers come over from Lefkosa to repair. Yesterday evening I was warned it could be the same again, but was put right in just over an hour.

Still nothing heard from Veezynet, no answers to emails or WhatsApp messages and no answers to phone calls either. System still works - not as good as it used to be and no support at all! If they are part of Nethouse now it would be good if Nethouse let Veezynet subscribers know! I guess I will find out when the contract runs out - lol.

Sorry to hear that you've still not managed to get in touch with them Waddo. I only have the numbers that I already gave you.
Must admit it had been bad for me too lately, despite mast being next door. Was more off than on, and when on it was abysmal. There's a few using it in my street due to mast and previously really good wifi. The storms over last weekend really hit badly. I kept complaining, as did my neighbours. Finally on Wed was told it was being repaired, then another neighbour gleaned that they were installing a new mast. Am frightened to say any more, but so far, so good.

Re: Veezynet
I've just done a speedtest and getting 20 mb. Funnily enough it's showing my ISP as Turk Telecom, whereas before it was definitely Nethouse. I am confused and have no idea, don't even know if connected to mast next door or elsewhere now.

on Speedtest you can click next to target network and select which target network to run the test against... you are not restricted to the target suggested by the Speedtest app.
