Further to my earlier post... I’m not looking for a dentist that is only interested in doing implants or whitening. But a dentist that interested in is patients wellbeing, and not his pocket.

There are 2 super dentists, one in Alsancak, one in Lapta.
Çağrı Kombaycı Dental 05338634976 is near Atakara supermarket, on opposite side of the road, 100 meters towards the Belediere offices.
Or
Ogy Dentist 0539 103 52 22 opposite the Wildduck.

I have personally used both and have been very satisfied.

Dentists here are of varying ability, Smilecare whilst not in Alsancak it is loacated west of Girne and Ipek (the dentist) speaks excellent english, and was trained in UK. To my own satisfaction she has performed the normal dental tasks, e.g. Fillings , Caps etc to a high standard.

But of course that is your choice.

Dr Osman opposite the Wild Duck! Super dentist, really gentle and calming. He always tells you to tell him the minute you feel any discomfort. I enquired about teeth whitening and he told me he wouldn't do it on me as I have too may fillings that don't whiten like teeth do. So he's not just trying to sell you procedures that you don't need. His English is fine.

I have had check ups, cleaning, a filling and a crown all done here. As someone with a huge dislike of dentists, I found him to be extremely good, gentle but thorough and he's definitely not interested in selling you treatment you don't need!
