There is an extremely kind man (Turan) that has rescued over time, 12 dogs.

Unfortunately he has become extremely poorly, infirmed and is now no longer able to work.

This means he is struggling to feed his dogs.

In no way does he wish to part or cause any suffering to his dogs. Rather he is asking for help to feed them.

To that end, we are asking if people would be willing to donate dog food to help this kind man

Being East Side where exactly where are the vets situated?
With the road works I have completely lost my bearings on direction and concentrating on what's in front than looking out for places.
Any suggestions on food? Dry, wet, pasta etc pointless spending on something that may give them the runs or that they are not used to and don't like
Can we give money and someone will ensure food is bought? I know where you live???

Garfield is on the left as you drive from Lapta to Girne. Its opposite the Dry Cleaners, the Money Exchange and The Deli Cafe. All of these are just before Ilellis.

Happy Tails is on RHS next to Arcelik. just after what was the Gold Lady roundabout. You would need to drive to first set of lights, do a Ueeeee and drive back on yourself.

I think that money is a good option - of course if you have any dog food or pasta that is surplus to requirements, that would be welcome. We can always do a swap if there's anything Turan's dogs can't eat.


I have ro say that the main road is a nightmare at the moment, although they are working on it & it changes every day.

To get to my house or to Garfields coming from Girne, you would need to drive past Green Petrol / Şokmar and do a U turn at the next intersection, then you could either take the 1st left to me or carry on for 100 mtrs to Garfields which has its name in big orange letters.
