Lexus
Hi everyone
I am moving from London to Famagusta in April and I am looking at shipping a Lexus LC500. However, a bit concerned at the lack of Lexus representation in North Cyprus. How do existing Lexus owners manage? Are there any experienced Lexus mechanics and parts providers in the North?

Re: Lexus
Thank you. I did email and whatsapp message this Toyota dealer before but never had a response from them so I assumed they had no Lexus service. I am starting to miss British customer service already - at least they don't ignore you!

Re: Lexus
I am moving permanently to North Cyprus from April so intend to keep the car there, so transfer costs will be minimal. What do you mean by keeping it for 3 years? Based on emigrating permanently to TRNC my understanding is that I pay full duty on the car but get exemptions from VAT (around 10% saving on the value of the car) without any restrictions on age.

Re: Lexus
There are no restrcitions for people permanentlty moving to the TRNC for reselling their imported car. However, things can change. 5-10 years ago someone relocating to TRNC could import their own car free of customs/duty provided they don't resell withn 3 years. Things change all the time with TRNC customs rules.
