We're with Lifecell internet, usually good but this morning only able to watch a couple of channels on IPTV. It might be the weather? Anyone else having problems?

We have had no Internet for over a day. Contacted lifecell who said it was our fault? But suddenly this morning the Internet is back on, so l assume it's a service problem

I find Lifecell very annoying when I stop and have a coffee or go into a shop and get a mobile message to the affect that you are now connected to Lifecell etc. Why does this happen. Locals seem to adapting to it more and more.........................perhaps is much cheaper??

All I can say is what comes on to my mobile screen. For example If I go into say Gloria Jeans or next door pharmacist or in either car park, I can't replicate the message that comes across my screen but when I switch on but it is along the lines of "you are now in a Lifecell area and something else. You could be correct perhaps it is something to do with g's.

I'm in Lapta and been with Lifecell/Turkcell for a few years now. Since renewing my contract last August the service has deteriorated to the extent that sometimes I only receive 6mbps. It is a tactic of Life Cell to blame the customer but the problem is definitely theirs. I have told them until I am blue in the face that daytime the signal is good but every evening I wonder whether I will be able to watch tv at all. They have sent 'technicians' out to me countless times to no avail and finally admitted that they can't provide me with the 20mbps I signed up for. When I complain I always include a screenshot of the test speed. They are an awful company to deal with and I will be changing but to whom?

6Mbps! Lucky you.
Yesterday evening, as usual, my signal fluctuated between 0 (zero) and 5 Mbps with surges above this. I cannot watch evening tv at all. Nethouse recommended that I should buy a bigger package with 3 x my existing headline rate which would be 20x the bandwidth needed to watch most programs. When I commented that 0% of a big number is, er, 0 the engineer left in a huff.
Thank goodness for books.

I don't think that the high winds are helping. I'm with Veezynet (Nethouse) and last night was dire, but picked up again later on. Been a bit up and down like a yo-yo past few days.

alphamike, did not know that Veezynet was Nethouse? Maybe that is why they never answer the phone when I have problems? Used to be really good but of late have been very up and down. I am being fair and putting it down to power outages by Kibtek but getting a bit weary of the lack of support now.
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Waddo, I think Veezynet is a bit like a franchise or maybe agents, they connect with Nethouse masts as far as I am lead to believe. Like you, I've been putting current problems down to Kibtek and bad weather issues. Can't help with any other numbers, think I gave you what I had a wee while ago. A few of my neighbours are with them, so I ask around first before contacting them to ascertain if just me or a general problem.
