Had my savvy visitor yet and we went through a number of alternatives, (got fed up in the end) However, one thing she did say, was that apart from her banks, hospital, solicitor, doctors surgery and Government Departments. she knew of no-one else who had landlines. Sign of the times isn't it. However, those are mostly the usual people I speak to. So I'm no further really. I do have thirty pounds or so with Skype credit, but if I read KC correctly it isn't refundable. I should have used Skype a lot more this last 18 months than I did in the past.

You can carry om using your remaining Skype credit (Using Microsoft Teams) until some time in 2026.

Can somebody please talk me through how to make a call please? I have registered paid the 50p got the account open but cannot find how to make a call, thank you.

Given up on teams, written off remaining £3 something with Skype, finally got WhatsApp laptop to laptop working so I can video call people yay!!! At no cost. For calls. Using yolla.
