I'm not quite sure what the issue is that you are complaining about - can we just clarify?
So you chose a frame that you were happy with costing 3,500TL - are you complaining that the frames were too expensive? - did you ask for a discount or were you happy with the price of the frames?
Or was it the prescription lenses with a 'sunglass tint' - any other coatings? - anti-scratch for instance? or UV filter? - were you unhappy about the cost of the lenses? - were you offered a choice of lenses, like Zeiss or Kodak, and advised of the price difference?
Did you shop around for a better price?
I'm not criticising, I just want to understand what the issue is.

Re: Roma Optic price hike
In a frame , over priced, less than a year ago, we bought from the same place 2 pairs of distance only for my wife and I with different lenses of course , Total cost for BOTH was £220. Cost now for ONE pair £188.Single long distance only
Therefore "caveat emptor "

Re: Roma Optic price hike
Just bought a pair of black frame prescription photo chromatic lenses with anti scratch, glare and rain repellent from google4u and they cost me £30.
I wasn't expecting much, but thought I would give it a go and they are tremendous.
Previously I had always bought from the opticians and paid well over £120

Re: Roma Optic price hike
I have never used Roma but have noticed over the years I have had to ask to see the cheap frames which are now in a drawer for my working and TV ones.. surprisingly the lenses have been changed 3 times in the working pair therefore around £10 have been a bargain. The TV ones lenses changed twice again around £10. My going out day frames are more fancy and delicate were around £70 therefore last time had an additional night wear frame set £90. As I like reactor lenses the coatings have increased in cost over the years but always found the TV plain glass to be very reasonable. Due another eye test soon, I may have to look at lenses replacement in all 4 pairs but do notice the "going out" frames are distorted, unfortunately I can not eat or read wearing glasses therefore they are on off, sat on tables etc which I strongly believe is why the frame life is shortened but also i accept they are more finely made therefore a higher cost.
Opticians suggest a test every 2 years therefore I have always divided by 24 to see if they are good value.
