Restaurants/Beaches
I know there are specific sections but they don't look very active so apologies.
We are regular visitors to TRNC and arrive next week for a fortnight but looking for any restaurant recommendations within about 40 minutes drive from Ozankoy. We have tended to stick to the same ones every visit and thought we might be more adventurous this time.
Also, any 'beach club' recommendations? We used to go to Escape Beach but it seemed a bit run down the last couple of visits.
Thanks.

I recommend Tuncay n Yeri, esentepe. Turn right off main road, it is signposted absolute gem, good prices hence very popular with locals. Beautiful gardens play area for kids. Also Hurma just past acapulco, also very good but a bit pricy, nice setting, again very popular with locals. Esentepe Restaurant on the road leading up to Esentepe. Family run fairly basic but good food and excellent prices.

Also, kaplica, bit further but maybe 40 mins away. Beautiful beach, fabulous restaurant especially if you like fish, but a very good selection of food. Again very popular with locals, very clean and a zip line if you feel a bit adventurous. And good prices.

Thanks. We ate at Hurma last year and enjoyed it. I've noted the others.mrsgee wrote: βThu 19 Jun 2025 1:43 pmI recommend Tuncay n Yeri, esentepe. Second Civil Defence restaurant. Really nice food and a lovely setting right on the front.

We went to Tuncay'nin Yeri on a Saturday night a little while ago. It was deserted, food wasn't great and was expensive . Just read on FB that it seems to have closed.mrsgee wrote: βThu 19 Jun 2025 1:43 pmI recommend Tuncay n Yeri, esentepe.
