I have a friend in Kayalar who wants to use her laptop to make phone calls. She particularly wants to call her bank in the UK and it does not use WhatsApp. Since the withdrawal of Skype, she is unable to do this. Does anyone use their laptop to make calls and if so which provider do you use ?

Voipfone is excellent. 1p per minute to UK landline, 7p to mobiles. No contract, just top up as you need.
Their customer service is the best I've experienced, should you need to contact them with any query.

2nd the use of voipfone, although have not had to contact customer services. I use it on my phone, but can be used on laptop. You can pay for a subscription to get UK phone number if required.

That sounds interesting, although when I looked at their website I could only see 'Monthly plans' - Am I looking in the wrong place?

Keith, to get a prepay plan, you need to select
Flex in the business section and 0 user if you are using on one device. Hope this helps.
