Just ask your pool cleaning guy or if you do your pool yourself ask one of the pool companies. There are a few Yapi markets that now sell the required glue for underwater.

Supposedly sticks when you are working underwater!!!! I contacted someone recommended on this forum, who said all water would need to be lower than the tiles needing replacement i.e. possible paddling around knee high or more.

So a workman takes a deep breath and than gets on his hands and knees and replaced tiles on the bottom. Or walks up and down waste high in water replacing tiles on the side. I can't get my head round that at all.

Re: replacing underwater pool tiles
I have used a Wurth product named MS Pool. Purchased in the UK if my memory serves me right. One may be able to purchase here or in the south.
Prep work required to remove original adhesive on tile and in the tile void else the replaced tile will stand proud.

The Würth product is called STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE MS POOL. It is a quick-hardening structural adhesive designed for use in and around pools, specifically for bonding materials like ceramic, plastic, metal, and glass. It is resistant to chlorine and other chemical influences, can be applied underwater, and is free of solvents.

I've done this myself. You have to breath most of your air out before going under water, by doing this you tend to sink, but only have a few seconds to fit the tile. You can prep tile with adhesive before going under water.benjaminbutton wrote: ↑Wed 13 Aug 2025 7:34 amSo a workman takes a deep breath and than gets on his hands and knees and replaced tiles on the bottom. Re: replacing underwater pool tiles
I first tried taking a deep breath and diving underwater, but could no stay at the needed point long enough to place tile. By doing as explained in previous post, was able to cross legs and sink to position and lay tile. No video until next time retiling needed. My weight may have something to do with it.

Re: replacing underwater pool tiles
Does anyone have a very small amount of this sort of underwater tile adhesive please? I have a tiny corner piece of tile which needs replacing. West side. Dont really want to buy a whole tube for such a small piece but will if necessary. Lyn on 0533 8538976.
