I know that 99per cent of people don't have DVD players these days, including myself and am getting rid, However, If there is anyone out there who has them in a rental or something. I have put a few classics on one side if anyone wants them. As follows:

Eye in the Sky with Helen Mirren
Darkest Hour with Gary Oldman as Churchill
The two Popes with Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Price
Red Joan with Judi Dench
The Queen with Helen Mirren
The Lady in the Van with Maggie Smith
The Shawshank Redemption with Morgan Freeman
The Wife with Glen Close
The Whistleblower with Rachel Weis
Fantastic Beast and where to find them with Eddie Redmayne
The Kings Speech with Colin Firth
Mr Turner with Timothy Spall

All or nothing.

I recently replaced my DVD player which needed a TV with SCART, with one of these to plug in my modern set/computer or laptop .... perfect and very reasonable price hence no need to dump my cd's or dvd's

Seems a plan, but sady everything is in different rooms i.e. upstairs and downstairs. Will probably put out for bin men or something as most of the above are in three or even four languages. The rest have are in bin liners waiting for next collection.

Mardos cafe next to Supremes in Çatalköy used to have a free dvd and book library at the back.

I have donated loads to cancer charity shop Tulips. Original copies they are happy to have. Also, I have a Sony TV which I shall shortly be donating, with scart, so if anyone is looking for one, it will be in Tulips shop soon. It has remote, in perfect working order. Please don't leave your dvds out for the bin men.

I do understand where you're coming from, and there are plenty of charities who would accept them, but those Bin Men do a sterling job & deserve a few perks!

They will either watch them or make sure that they go to someone who will...

Thanks Mrs Gee, but some one has claimed the Classics, plus full Lewis and House of Cards. I was in one charity shop yesterday, who said they were full of DVD's and couldn't remember last time they sold one. Totally agree with KC, mind you decent donation at Christmas helps and cold drinks in the days when they came during the day and not 11.30 at night.
