Is it worth instructing a lawyer
Can anyone tell me if it is worth instructing a solicitor to sue somebody in court. Does it work and how long does the process take. Thanks in advance

Morning Gates, you appear to be asking the self same question in a different format each time. Unless you really have a lot of time, a lot of money to pay your Advocate and are prepared to lose and then have to pay the Court fees etc, Of course the system works, BUT NOT NECESSARILY IN YOUR FAVOUR AS THE CHANCES ARE THAT YOU WILL NOT WIN.

If you are suing a foreigner your chances are good if case is justified and the evidence is solid, if your issue is with a Turkish Cypriot your chances are next to nothing, if it's with a mainland Turk, odds are slightly better, but they always have the option to leave, b*gger-off just before your case comes up, leaving you and your case in limbo..
My advice, enjoy YOUR money not wasted on lawyers and chalk it up to a quirk of living here and no matter how much it rankles - try and get on living your best life mate...
