We have been with Digiturk for 10 years now and very happy with it. the shop is on the top road from the Bellapais roundabout in Girne, , but maybe someone locally can tell you where. Package deals don't seem to exist here with TV and internet. Multi max might, but I am not sure. If it helps, I have a Telsim dongle, but i warn you that it is dearer than U.K. I also have a phone line, so my dongle is only a back up for which I pay 25tl a month . (1 gb). go into the shop and ask what they can offer.
Hope that helps, although I am sure that others will giveyou different opinions. good luck in the quest, and if there are any more questions, don't hesitate to ask cos I am sure that someone on this forum can help.

hi, we have Nilesat one off payment and enough english language programs for us when we are visiting.

from memory i think it was approx £160 two years ago, not had any problems think on average there is about 15 or so english language channels and others showing the odd film in the evening.

plenty of people install this system so just look in one of the papers.

Multimax seem to get the best reputation, that's who we're going to use when we move out in October.

I think Digiturk is a good deal if you live here as I do.

I have been here almost a month now, and today had the Multimax 4GB wireless installed. If you are one of their customers you can watch BBC1 BBC2 ITV1 and ITV2 Live on their site and they are apparently trying to get more UK tv channels too inc. 4. I have done a speed test and at one point late tonight it was downloading at 23GB, and even when they installed it was running 10GB download so amazing speed. Tonight I watched In it to win it, casualty and the news on BBC1 with absolutely no problems as if on a TV in the UK on my laptop. The guys who came to install it were very professional and arrived when they said they would. The cost is 960TL for 12 months (up front) + you get 3 months free so = 15 months, so that calculates to 64TL per month + the cost of the wireless router that I think was 85TL and they said they would move the system for free too in 6 months or so, once more settled and my furniture and stuff arrives here. I was recommended this system by various on this board, and having the TV and a fast connection (I use Skype a lot!) swung it for me. I tried someone else for a few days last week and was too slow and kept losing connection.... and for 20TL extra per month, I think this system is well worth it as fast, appears reliable, plus you get the TV.
