Dolphin Removals

Good evening.

Does anyone have any information about Dolphin Removal company going out of business?

Friends recently (four or five weeks ago) handed over nine boxes of their personal effects to the company for shipping to the UK.

On enquiry with their representative, Mustapha, he informed them that he had resigned from the company and that “Dolphin operations have stopped”. He also said that their goods were still in Famagusta and “Dolphin will try to ship them with alternative routes”.

They are obviously very worried about their possessions. Has this happened to anyone else, or is anyone in the process of packing up and thinking of using the company?

Any information or advice about the way ahead would be appreciated. My friends are no longer on the island, but en route back to Wales.

TIA.

Friends used them last year to ship items back to UK.
The items failed to arrive and when they contacted Dolphin they said they would pay compensation. It never materialised and despite numerous attempts they have not been able to contact them further.
My friends found out through companies house that they have ceased trading.

We used Dolphin last November when we left the TRNC and entrusted them with 5 items, including suitcases. We had to chases them a few times and after a few missed departures, along the way, they did eventually arrive in Cheshunt in mid March, this year. If you want any further details, then PM.
