As I am approaching pension entitlement age. I am looking for recommendations for a good bank to get a UK pension paid into.
I am an expat and I do not have a UK bank account or UK residential address so not interested in suggestions to use Revolute, Wise etc.
I have local bank accounts but they only use Uban not Iban so I take it I will need to open a bank account with a mainland Turkish bank to receive my pension into here on the Island.
Looking for recommendations for Turkish mainland banks here on the Island based on personal experience please.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Banks to get UK pension paid into
I am in the same position as you with no UK address or UK bank account. I receive my UK state pension via TurkBankasi London which is then transferred to my bank account here in Girne. Unfortunately, the DWP will not pay any state pension through a third-party bank in Turkey. Its been working well for the past 3 years and the transfer fees are reasonable. I suggest you call into one of the branches for a chat. You are not required to open an account in London, but you will need to show that you have evidence of Residency or an Exemption Certificate.
Good luck
