NORTH KOREA
I am not a warmongerer by any means but why is the WORLD holding its breath wondering what this buffoon who leads this place will do next?

Re: NORTH KOREA
I think US, Korea & Japan are holding back because IMO they are frightened that "this buffoon" will react in such a way that the world will never be the same again. I honestly thought that because he was educated in Switzerland he may have developed some common sense but everything seems to indicate he has not.

CiH the way I see it is, the USA etc will have to deal with him eventually so why not now before his has the chance to develop a real nuclear threat. I know he can cause a certain amount of damage but at the mo it would be limited. Are his people brainwashed, all the running into the sea after him and the constant clapping is quite scary really. A tad Stepfordy.

Re: NORTH KOREA
Did anyone else see the orchestrated running into the sea to praise this monster? Then yesterday the regimented laying similar bunches of flowers for the birthday celebrations of the First Kim?
The world knows that the majority of people in N. Korea are starving but they can organize huge events in praise of the leaders, then have the nerve to ask for aid. The problem is how do you deal with the country, there is only limited radio and TV and no internet so the people really are isolated to what is happening outside of their own little world. In the Arab revolutions everyone had mobile phones connected to internet.

CiH exactly right, the world stands by and watches but does nothing to free these starving people from this total madman and his regime. Why aren't the human rights lobbyists screaming louder. Personally I feel powerless and sickened,. I watched the Panorama programme last night and had nightmares last night, the line of children sat so motionless and expressionless against the wall, starving to death has left an enormous imprint on my mind.
