Hose Pipes
Can you use a hose pipe from the mains, or is it only if you have a well? I have seen hose pipes being used so I assume it's OK but just want to make sure. Thanks

Re: Hose Pipes

What I really meant to say Andrew was for the purpose of watering your garden plants and fruit trees.

Officially mains water is not allowed for watering garden with a hose - I think if you use a watering can (like in UK now) you can get away with it, but I wouldnt like to say for sure - and its definitely a nono to fill ones pool with mains water! Or water the paths, or clean the car..............etc etc but how many of us do???????????? We're lucky we have a well!!

Re: Hose Pipes
No watering garden, no water in pools that is what they say. I know a couple of cases in Karsiyaka where people have been in trouble for it. What they say is have a tank in garden and purchase water specifically for things other than cooking and washing.
