Hi everyone,
I am currently having a panic attack. I was about to pop into Lefkosa to get my residency renewed, however, cannot find my pink booklet thingy that I was given last year. I have the photocopy. I have had my police checks, bloods, x-rays and have this morning collected my results. Is there someone out there that can assist me. Do I need the pink booklet thingy or am I having a senior moment and would the police have taken it from me? Any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I lost mine last year, went to the local Police Station who issued me a new one no problem, I think you do need the pink booklet for Lefkosa, but not 100% sure?

Panic not, Girne police will be very helpful and issue a new one. i suggest you take the photocopy you have, your passport and any other gubbins you supplied for the first one (which they might not want these days though) Like Mollie the Cat I'm not absolutely sure whether you need it for Residency, but like you I have senior moment and it was a year ago when we went!!

You do need it, so go get the replacement... It might be blue not pink... Ours have always been blue - not sure why....

Hi Witchy,
Reading your post it sounds like you have been to the Police Station and then gone to get your blood tests, etc indicating that you are under 60. If this is the case, then the Police will have taken your pink booklet when you gave them all your other paperwork and you will have the booklet returned when you turn up at Lefkosa to get your passport stamped. All you need at Lefkosa is your passport, blood test results, fee and official stamps (you can purchase these at the cafe in the Immigration building).

Dear All,
Thank you for the advice. I am assuming my senile moment is that the police took it back which is why I can no longer find it. But hey, all my paperwork is now neat and tidy having gone through everything this morning!
I will head off to Lefkosa to collect my new stamp in my passport and get my pink booklet handed back to me.
Thanks again everyone
