Free Calls & Txts on Viber

Hi, this is for those that don't know, you can Telephone, send Txts worldwide FREE if you and the recipient have downloaded Viber, you can use it on iPhones, Android, and Windows phones, We use this on a regular basis talking to family and friends worldwide.

I had a quick look at the website-what can It do that Skype cannot?
Also has anyone tried 'Fring' which is a similar looking service.
What I would really like is a 'Skype number' so that people can ring me and it only costs the same as a local call.
But as far as I can see Skype does not offer the service here.(I realise I can have a UK based Skype number)
Will 'Vibe' do that?
There are quite a few 'Skype type services around now, but I find it confusing trying to figure out the best one.

Hi Philoz, I find Viber excellent at home and on the move. A lot of people use Skype on a computers at home, on pc's we find Viber is very very good at home and on the move. For instance my son called me from Geneva 2 weeks ago , whilst walking home from work, I was at Heathrow Airport, the quality was perfect, and the call was FREE on Viber.
