Re: picture framing
don't you just need a new piece of glass cut-if so you don't need a picture framing shop for that?

Re: picture framing
There is a Cypriot Turk selling drawings and water colours, many or perhaps all, made by his wife, every Saturday at Lamboursa. He will be able to help you. His shop is in Türk Mah.
There is also a shop not far from Girne Hospital, but have not used them, so do not know if they do 'a good job'.
An other one is a small shop selling art, same place as Magic Touch. They will do 'a half good job'. BUT the string and 'those small things' on the back of the frame are NEVER strong enough, even thoug they have been told again and again, so the picture will sooner or later drop from the wall, and you will have broken glass in a million pices every where. If it is a small picture, not for the wall. Then fine.
There are perhaps other shops West og East of Girne, that I don't know of.

I am sorry, I thought that shop had closed. If we are talking about the same shop, in what you call Tin Pan A, then they are doing a great job

We had two football tops framed here and they did a great job. They are in the road going down towards Colony Hotel. On the left hand side before the first petrol station which is on the right. They are I think the first row of shops you come to and they are down the side of those shops.
