Swimming pools-.....SIBA Astral and the 36 Euro o ring

Went to Siba today because my elderly neighbour was surprised at the price of an o ring for the lid on his Astral pool pump.

No I know that anything pool related is always expensive, I had bought a similar o ring last year and it came to 12 Euros, can't remember if that included VAT.

The guy at SIBA said he could only supply a full set of o rings at a price of 36 Euros +vat as that is the only way he can buy them from Astral. So you have to purchase a handful of o rings to get the one you want, its a bit like having to buy 4 tires for your car when you only need one. Not only that the other o rings are only required if you strip the pump down completely and even then most likely not needed. The excuse that they had to buy them like that is easily disputed as they are available singly online.

So as a result of this I am going to bring some in, they will be here hopefully in the next couple of weeks so anyone wants one please PM me. I should imagine they will be about half the market price of 12 euros
