Multimax connection speed,Turtle bay area Esentepe

Can anyone who has Multimax in the Turtle Bay area give an honest opinion of the speeds/downtime please.

Just carried out speed test and got only 1.4 (down) and .8 (up) in the past 6 months been down once when hit by lightening and they visited in less than 12 hours and sorted. Service good but speeds can vary (I pay for 5 Mbps by the way)

I work for multimax. I just picked three customers from turtle bay area(first three in the alphabetical list) and performed a test from their CPEs

Cust 1 / Package: 1.5Mbps / Actual Speed: 3.3Mbps Download, 1.8Mbps Upload
Cust 2 / Package: 5Mbps / Actual Speed: 4.4Mbps Download, 6.4Mbps Upload
Cust 3 / Package: 5Mbps / Actual Speed: 6.1Mbps Download, 5.8Mbps Upload

@Bert, Everybody's speed from Turtle bay area that I looked at shows much better results that what you wrote up in here. It can either be that you didnt stop all the downloads(including streams, other downloads and automatic updates if ready) when you performed your test OR there is something wrong somewhere, please drop me a line at kbasat@multimaxcyprus.com and we will take a look.

The other thing to remember is that to confirm the speed you are getting you need to test with the link on MM website. Off island speeds are out of MM control and can vary dramatically.

Thank you Jonnie, speedtest tool at the http://www.mmcyp.com (icon on the right hand side) measures your speed from your home all the way to the point where our Internet exit to Turkey is (we only control this portion of your Internet). Anything further is beyond our contol. K.

Have no technicle knowledge of speeds or downloads.
Have just renewed my subscription after being with Multimax for a year
Very satisfied with the service.
