Am I thick or do others think the same

Why would the TV and Radio broadcast the news of a new 'underpants' bomb that cannot be detected whilst going through security. Firstly, why tell 'the enemy' you have an agent in their midst then say that he gave up what he was supposed to travel with. I would have thought if his bosses asked why bomb didn't go off, surely as a highly trained agent could have talked his way out of that or say 'well didn't detinate'. Now they tell us he was British - am I thick!!!!!

I Rita - have just asked Paul about this (they're actually talking about it right this minute on "Have I Got News for You"). He has tried to explain - I'm none the wiser, to be honest, so if you're thick, then so am I. Mind you, I doubt many would disagree about me.

If we stopped interfering with other countries affairs we might not have the problem of exploding underpants or any other 'security" matters!!!!Look at Cyprus where we should have prevented the greeks from trying to wipe out the Turks. As usual because there was nothing in it for us we just sat on the sidelines!! As one old Turkish gentleman in the back streets of Nicosia politely put it to me " we have nothing to be proud of" !!
