do you knoiw what is the Dereboyu area of Lefkosia. The place where all the coffee bars, clothes shops, and where there is a Gloria Jeans, a Califorian Restaurant etc. If you do, then after turning right from the main road which leads up past the hospital (not sure which set of lights), follow right up to the top of the Dereboyu shopping street, where there is a very small roundabout and one turns left to go through back towards the old town (also near where the office of Denktash was). At the small roundabout go straight ahead, and Shakespeare House is found on the right a few yards up. A long high wall shows the extent of it.

But i am sure someone else will give better instructions.

Oh ok, I was thinking it was either a historical site (I didn't know about) or a theatrical place.

Believe me corona24, you are probably correct with your second suggestion. With all the help they don't give us these days, they have become a bit of a joke in themselves.

yes indeed Sophie. They are less available than ever to people in the North; no llonger handle passport renewals etc; and of course none of their important workers are allowed to live in thenorth. Makes one wonder what progress is being made in relationships, especially as Britain is still supposed to be a Guarantee country for us, plus there is an increased number of Brits here.

I like the thought of it: Shakespeare's House (a theatrical place) and people are actually performing plays n such
