Smartphone Help please !!!

In January whilst in the UK I bought a new Smartphone (Huawei G300) , had it unlocked, bought it back here, popped in my Turkcell sim (Contract) and had no problem whatsoever using it in WiFi spots (email Facebook etc) with no change to my phone bill.

A few months ago whilst paying my Bill, the Turkcell staff said that they needed to alter my phone settings and then my problems started !!, My phone bills have rocketed ( 2 - 3 times what they were), they haven't installed 2G/3G but aren't sure why the increase in bills, they suggested disabling my GPRS settings, then I was unable to get WiFi

Today they have said that whilst WiFi is free, they make a charge

Any Ideas please in plain and simple terms?

ttoli, which branch of Turkcell are you visiting? The reason I ask is that I recently had a problem (not the same as yours but a problem none the less) and I went to the branch just down from Mr Pound on the opposite side. I got a whole load of gobblegook and left. On someones recommendation I went to the branch next to The Life Hotel and they were great. They explained it in detail, put it right and charged 20tl.
