Advice needed on sending pictures with email
Advice needed on sending picture attachents
I have a 16.1 mega pixel camera (Canon Ixus 240 HS) and after I have uploaded the pictures to my pc I cannot find how to reduce the picture size so as to make it easier to send. If anyone could explain how to do this I would be much obliged.
Thanks in anticipation,
Steve

Sharing photos by sending didnt work for me either, so I use dropbox which is somewhere online I can dump large files and then give permission for someone to access or copy them accordingly, it works for me.
However there are lots of alternatives out there which are free and some you have to pay for..... check the following or search google

good luck and hope it helps

Assuming you are using windows, there is a free 'Power toy' from Microsoft which will add the option to resize photos by simply 'right clicking'.
you can find it here-

Hope this helps.

I'm using Windows 8, but I'm sure it's not so different to the one you're using.
If you select your photo and right click 'Open with'. Then go to 'Paint', then you can re-size your photo.
I have found that if you select pixels 800 x 600 (Horizontal x Vertical) it will give you an acceptable size for emails etc.
Then 'Save as'. This should be ok.
I hope this helps

Adobe Photoshop is probably the best application. You can upload all your photo, record a single process then do an automated batch conversion - it will then run through all your photos and re-size them all as well as reduce the resolution from say 300dpi to 72dpi.
