Don't forget the old Cyprus 44 picnic - a party, or a 'wake'
Sunday 11a.m. at the Bogaz Picnic site opposite turn off to St.Hilarion. the picnic will go ahead but it was meant to be a hello party and is now a 'goodbye'. But a chance to meet what were old friends on Cyprus 44. Just because the site is dead, the people aren't, so all are welcome to go along for a Sunday picnic with folk you knew on line who you can now meet in the flesh.
could also be a chance to meet up with those who are now on Kibkom, so it could still be a hello party.

Oh dear. It was/is today, and I did not get there. Feeling guilty now, but other events overtook and because the board does not exist anymore I cnanlot publicly apologise. I will write to Ismet but hope that others did make it. I could have seen you there Andrew, but as I didn't go....................think I will go back to bed. A bit of a failure day.
But to be fair, I had other places to go and hubby has only just got himself wound up enough to emerge. Maybe folk are still there. it was due to start at 11a.m. So still time for the energetic. And so sorry that Safari girl could not get a lift. Can;'t help, cos I am the wrong side anyway.Maybe if we get this forum going we could arrange a summer event for those on island, ?

Marion, great idea... let's pencil something in our diaries. I am out in Cyprus from 6th July until 20th would be great to meet up with members. Sundays fall on the 8th and 15th. I hear the weather will be great on both these dates.

Greatsoner. You choose time and place and we can advertise it on the Forum and in the newspaper, and get Can Gazi to announce it on air and............................. over to you, Boss.
Is anyone else as keen as I??

Hope you CAN make it! Ful;l details soon. As soon as soner decides where and when, then everyone will be notified. And I am trying to arrange a 'Literary lunch' with proceeds for the NCCCT, so hope that everyone will want to support that too.
How many people will bde willing to do both? One is a picnic the other will be 5 star hotel (once we can get a price that everyone can afford.)
