Lefkosa. Govt.Offices. PTP Enquiries?
I know it's early in the day, but no replies to my earlier enquiry regarding location of PTP office, within the Govt. Buildings. Surely someone out there has found their way to it, particularly in the last couple of weeks when several PTPs have been handed out! Help please!

Unless someone has been there I think the only answer is to go to the offices and enquire from within. there is a good reception area at the front, and there are quite good signs around the building. sorry I can't bhe more positiv,e as i have never visited those offices. Or maybe a lawyer could tell (without charging you money to do so!)

Thanks Deniz1, --you were spot on with your directions, although we did find it ourselves after barging in to a couple of other offices where we got help.
Marion, No English on the main Reception desk --then to the desk area left of the foyer,-5 clerks, 4 not doing anything, but ignoring those waiting for info--the only female had broken English, and sent us to the wrong place. As I said, we found it by trial and error, and it was a very successful day! Whoopee!!

Good! I got my PTP through last week they do seem to be getting quicker maybe they have realised they can collect money quicker if they hurry up.

Could be Deniz, or are there just fewer applications being submitted these days?Deniz1 wrote:Good! I got my PTP through last week they do seem to be getting quicker maybe they have realised they can collect money quicker if they hurry up.
Has the housing market slowed down that much now?

Maybe that too I suppose. I have noticed the prices are slowly going up a bit. When she applied for my PTP my lawyer said about 18months to 2 years to wait it has been exactly a year.

Well, that is certainly a great improvement Deniz. When I left, they were taking years and years, so unless they kept their promise made in 2004 and employed more staff, there must be considerably less going through.Deniz1 wrote:Maybe that too I suppose. Maybe I should come back?
