50% walked out after waiting two hours or so for food: 30% walked out having waited for ages only to be served main course before the starter whilst others on the table received nothing at all or exceptionally their starter. We were amongst the 20% UNLUCKY ones who received food, for it was stone cold.
We paid our bill in full becuse we felt sorry for the staff and management: I suspect we were two of the very, very few who paid.
We really do wish the restaurant succeeds for they have put in masses of effort to make it stylish, even had a cello/flute duo playing.
They just couldn't cope and it is such a shame they blew their opportunity to shine.
They can only improve their act and hopefully they will cut down the size of the menu and attain a semblance of organisation.

Oh dear what a shame. We drove by last week before it opened and it certainly looked like someone has invested a lot of money in the place. Hopefully they can iron out the problems and make a lasting success of it. Wishing them luck, it certainly can't be easy, and the area is really crying out for a high quality eatery in a nice setting.BrightonJim wrote:50% walked out after waiting two hours or so for food: 30% walked out having waited for ages only to be served main course before the starter whilst others on the table received nothing at all or exceptionally their starter. Owl lady it is just past the turn off for Esentepe village. It is more or less opposite Marshalls on the sea side.

Re: Stone Castle Restaurant
Went to the stone castle last night with friends what a disaster, a friend ordered Hawaiian chicken , when it came there was nothing Hawaiian about it no pineapple etc in, instead they put figs in and apricots which my friend doesn't like, when asked why they didn't really have a answer. Her husband ordered fish and chips, think you cannot go wrong with that, the fish was over cooked that much it could have been used as a door wedge, I had the fajhitas no tortilla bread with it, what they use was the thin bread the use for making the cheese borek, the staff said it was and brought a pkt of tortilla breads out saying that was what was on my plate but I said excuse me look it not the same, they were stumped then. we let without having to pay because they new they were wrong. Im sorry but you should not cheat the hand that feeds you. The only good thing I can say it was a lovely setting wont be returning ever again.

We ate here last night and had an enjoyable meal, there was a solo singer and we had a nice evening. I feel they are still on a learning curve, but compared to their opening night (did not go)they have improved.
I wish them well.
