sorry I am not a Buffalo soldier, but a KibKom one, and will fight for that with all my might. However, I am sure that there are some buffalo soldiers who would be interested in this event. as KibKom has an events page, would you please post the info on there for KibKomers, and/or give us some full details here.
don['t want to seem to be too nit picky but it is against the rules to direct people to another web site, and although I know Soner is a lovely soft guy who wants to help everyone, I just want to know what this event is all about, and I am sure others do too. So, as you have mentioned it here, ]please kill the curiosity of all we cats who want to know more.

Sorry marions, maybe i should have said three little birds instead of buffalo soldiers (bob marley songs by the way)!
I cant post the info here as there is an events page, and as we are not agents for these venues, dont wish to promote events. We would though like to bring it to peoples attention in case they are interested but dont want to start giving full details of every event. If people are "curious" or interested they can check our website where they will get all the info. Soner has informed me regards the rules so i have not put a direct link to our website. But its quite easy to put www. in front !! This according to Soner is within the rules.

Well. Since everybody else seems to get away with it, and it is to help the CHILDREN IN NEED charity.

THE LEGEND, the world famous Bob Marley tribute band are playing at the ampitheatre this coming saturday night 6th July.

Doors open at 6.30. Drinks, refreshments and snacks are available.

Concert starts at 8pm.

Tickets, 50tl available at Girnes Cafe George, Catalkoy DVD shop and The property centre in Alsancak.

Organised by the Children In Need Foundation, proceeds are going to complete the refurbishment of the Lefkosa orphanage and Social Services Home.

Thanks B.B. and sorry that I know nothing about Reggae, but I am sure there are fans out there, and as it is for charity then it MUST surely be advertised.

I don't think there is anything wrong in putting things on KibKom about events. it seems we all do it where we think it is something relaly worth talking about.

to whatsonwhere, I was not annoyed - not at all, although I guess a tad annoyed tha t you only half mention something. You are talking to a woman here who is as curious as any others of the female species. Many people see KibKom as a source of information and that is what BB has given us.

i am sure for reggae fans it will be a fab night , and I hope it raises a lot of money for children in need as they are ding such a grand job . I know of some of the recipients of their generosity and they really do change lives.
