Hi There,

We will be staying at our new apartment in Esentepe in three weeks time-very excited.

We aren't full time residents but 'long stayers'. We've had Digiturk before over in Turkey and it's not great but was better than nothing.

We won't have the internet-we just use wi-fi in bars and restaurants. Can anyone suggest anything better(and cheaper hopefully) than Digiturk? Some type of satellite system that's good?

If not it's back to Digiturk

Cheers
Rosie

We have Digiturk, but live here all the time. It depends on what you want to watch I suppose. Their basic package isn't expensive 12.99TL pm and you could add other packages to that. They may agree to suspending your service when you're not here and reinstating it when you are? Always worth asking.

However, if you did have wifi you could always watch UK TV via Filmon.com free where you can watch the terrestrial UK TV channels.

You could also get a satellite dish that would give you access to fre channels, but think that they would mostly be in Turkish.

Hello Mozgor.

Thanks for your reply. I think we'll go for the Digiturk basic package.

We're not very technical and anything else sounds like hard work.

Cheers

Rosie
