flights needed back to the uk before sept 4th...any ideas??

hi all,i have been looking at flights back to the uk .... and they are absolutely sky high in price (excuse the pun)......does anyone have any ideas ??
we need to get back before the kids start school...but cannot find anything below £300+ for one way flights !!!
why are they so expensive???

OUCH, THAT'S TERRIBLE. I hate to mention it, but have you tried the south? You stand more chance of a cheapie, but I know for some people going osuth is not an option. Search the web for flights. One canoften find them. I have to do thaton the very rare occasions I want to go somewhere outlandish which cnanot be reached from Ercan.

You have not specified where you want to fly back to in Uk but here is the cheapest way even though you are leaving it very late.

Ercan to Istanbul using Pegasus
Istanbul to London Luton using Easyjet

hi silverfox.....just checked easyjet....cheapest one way flights from istanbul to luton are £415 !!.........unbelievable !!

Try A1cyprustravel or greenisland they both doing return flights from £265.... so just travel the one way.

Ercan to Istanbul 123 TL each person

Then you would have to find a flight from Istanbul

to whatever airport your flying back to

Brutus why don't you go from Larnaca, as there is more choice, but you will still be lucky to find anything cheap at this time of the year.
