UK Driving Licence Renewal Forms.

Morning,

Is anyone going to the UK soon who could bring me back a UK Licence Renewal Form please, because as you know it needs to be renewed every 10 years, & as the wife does not have a passport issued in the last 5 years it can't be done on line.

I am not sure what this form is called ie DLR 1 I don't know.

I think the form you need is a D798.

Try Gov.uk, you should be able to down load a renewal form.

What is Philoz saying that he thinks the form is D798.

Which one is right ?

Sorry RCOT- it is D1 assuming you have not received the renewal form which is D798(which you obviously haven't!).
You can order form D1 online,but if others have an up to date D1 here that is your best bet.
It Would be simpler if you could just download it and print it out but there must be a reason why not

I used form D1 to renew my photo driving licence. On the side of the form it says it is for:
A first provisional licence
To drive a car at 16 because of disability allowance
to change name on licence
to change address on licence
to replace licence because it has been lost, stolen, defaced or destroyed
to exchange paper licence for a photocard licence
to renew licence at age 70 or over
to renew licence to exchange licence after passing a test
to exchange NI licence for a GB licence
to exchange my non-uk licence for a british one
