Kibkom Forum hits 2 Million

Over the last 6 months Kibkom has had over 2 Million hits.

Just thought I would share that with you all!

And on another forum it says when you say "hits" your claims are wrong you should be saying "visitors" ?

And another forum says they have had 2 million 33 thousand "hits". ?

I do know what I am talking about and can prove it if needed. I would be happier if it were 2 million visitors but unfortunately it is not....so guess that whoever is stating it is visitors do not know what they are talking about. We have infact had just over 28,000 Visitors of whom between them have visited the forum just over 235,000 times clicking through to an amount of 2 million clicks. This in itself is extremely good as it shows that the average amount of pages viewed per visit is just over 8 pages - the average page view of any website is 2.2 pages, so we are well above the norm.

As for what other forums claiming what hits they are getting does not interest me, I am not in competition with anyone...but as it has been mentioned, did they state over what period? It could be over 10 years for all I care.

Just one more thing that I should mention, these visits are from real people, not spammers nor bots which visit most websites in their thousands. The Kibkom Forum is protected and in the 6 months only one had escaped through the net, of which I had banned just 2 days ago when a member kindly contacted me when he had spotted that they were trouble.

Thanks for the explanation 'Boss' but for me, what matters is that people are happy and helped through KK regardless of hits, visitors, members etc. nevertheless we live in a world of statistic s and such can show success of a busienss or a venture. trouble is that in N.Cyprus we don't have the same regulatory laws as govern other places.

for many people (including me up until recenty) they do not know the difference between hits and visitors, so thanks for the explanation .

Incidentally, you are a clever guy to keep out the spammers, I wish I knew how to get rid of the loads of sites that keep popping up on my computer, offering games I don't want, holidays I don't want, mercxhandise I don't want and dating sites I don't want. I think my computer has blown a security gasket!

Not sure wha t you mean Woodspeckie. I am on Soner's side, and I am pretty certain that he would agree with me that it is a bit of a 'compliment' if other forums feel they need to criticise KibKom, as that shows it is important.

so let's all just be happy with KibKom and rejoice at Soner's success, regardless of the success of others (or otherwise).

I am a happy KibKomer anyway, and so are many others, and try to ignore what other forums are doing, as they have their fans, and we wish them well.
