Buses to Girne

Is it possible to get a bus from opposite Tempo in Catalkoy to Girne. There is a bus stop on the Tempo side of the road but not on the opposite side. Also does anyone know the cost and how often they come.

Yes you can get a bus from anywhere on the road.Just flag it down and it should stop for you, Calac (sorry about spelling haven't got a Turkish keyboard)It is white and green.It may go through Ozankoy first and then back down to the main coast road into Girne,I think it is still 2 lira.I don't know how often, but from Girne to Catalkoy they are about every 15 mins!!!

Hi, the Caglas buses only go as far as Supreme and then back down through Ozankoy to Girne.

There are other buses from Acapulco and Catalkoy village who pass Tempo and will stop for you.

As I live in Ozankoy I only use the Caglas buses and it is 2tl from Girne to Supreme.

Wherever you get on the Caglas bus it is 2 tl had a few experiences to laugh about when we have been on the journey, a man got on at Erdener one day with 10 bags of shopping and a big tin of oil he handed them all to Hubby who was sat opposite the door, we then had a ride up a mountain stopped outside a little row of cottages a lady came out and the bags were passed to her, then back down to the road to Okankoy.
