Hello out there

Does anybody out there know of anywhere who hires out wheelchairs and/or crutches. I have a funny feeling Girne hospital won't let us have one of there's for 6 weeks, or whatever, and I don't really want to buy them.

The chemist in Girne opposite what used to be the Astro supermarket, I think it's Lemar now used to hire them out. Or contact Chris Offord, Nurseawful on the Embargoed forum and she will probably be able to help you.

I have already had a PM from a good friend suggesting chris/nurseawful so I think that looks like the way to go.

Try the Cheshire Homes on the Girne/Bellapais road

Yes, The Cheshire Homes have all this kit and hire it out for a small fee/donation. I speak from experience as my wife needed them some time back.
