Re: Flaxseeds
Hi Charlotte,
The Turkish for "flax seeds" is "keten tohumu".
I do not know where you can get the seeds, but you can get flax seed oil at Holland and Barratt in the south.

Re: Flaxseeds
Well, its in a plan for healthy eating as its got good oil in, Omega 3 and could possibly help with
a few health issues, I think you put in
cereals, yoghurts and can go in bread too, but I think it goes rancid quite quickly so I've read today, so maybe not a good idea here?
Thanks

Re: Flaxseeds
According to Wicki-Flax seeds and Linseed are the same thing.

I have seen Linseed in little green packets in the spice section in most supermarkets i.e. Erdener, Tempo, Supreme etc.

FLAXSEEDS/LINSEEDS
They are really good for you, I keep all my nuts and seeds in the fridge if they are not to be eaten immediately. I find shelled walnuts can also taste 'old' quickly
If you are not sure what they look like - like brown, shiny sesame seeds, lovely in bread, I just throw a handful in the flour, before adding the liquid. My mother had it in her yoghurt with some fruit every evening.
