Cholesterol check?

Does anyone know where is the best place to get a Cholesterol check done in the Girne area and what's the cost?
My wife had a heart attack last week and emergency surgery, which saved her life, but we now need to know her cholesterol levels to make sure there are no further problems and if we need a dietary change.
She had excellent treatment in Kolan British Hospital, which I can't fault, (except the intensive care nurse who slept his whole night shift away,) and had they not been so efficient on our arrival I'd be a widower now.
I don't want to go back there for the test as they are not cheap, and one was not offered as part of her treatment.

Are you registered with VIP Med? They will do checks for you.

just about any laboratory dotted around Girne etc will do it. Of all the ones Iknow, I would go to Oya Talat, near to the hospital in Girne.

But check first with the one you choose, because I think it is regular to go and have the test done having consumed nothing from the night before.

We always use Metin Erduran's Lab next to the Bellapais traffic lights and if you have a BRS card you will receive 20% discount.

Marion is correct your wife should not eat from the night before until after the blood test has been taken so usually we go for when they open at 8am and the result should be ready about lunchtime.

My husband had his checked approx 10 days ago and it cost 50tl (with the BRS discount).
