Is there a shoemaker/mender anywhere near Alsancak?

Hi All

Need some new heels on my Stilettos. Is there anywhere local (Alsancak) where I can get them done or do I have to go to Girne?

Don't know of one in Alsancak,there is one in Karaoglanoglu.Main rd,post office on right,50metres after,turn right,further 50/100 metres on your right hand side.Very good & reasonably priced.

Just to confirm that the man at Karaoglanoglu is great. A good old fahsioned cobbler and very good prices.

There is another one in Girne, but no parking so the Karaoglanoglu man is therefore the best for those who live out West.
