Re: Dog Missing Lapta Area
Sorry to have to say thisd, but why do you allow your dogs to wander off on their own?

Re: Dog Missing Lapta Area
It is called responsible ownership and training, and I don`t mean for the dog.

Lapta is quite a large place, you say Lapta area and it would help people if you could be more specific. Has she a contact number on her collar and is she coming on heat?

Re: Dog Missing Lapta Area
She is always tied up unfortunately and she was left by her first owner to wonder and every chance she would run off....lapta area above the hotels...chateau lambousa road, I understand your comments we never had a dog in our lives then ended up with 4! & yes lack of training and patience. But please any sightings to know she may still be alive
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Dog Missing Lapta Area
Have you tried giving the other dog, that came back, something of lulu to sniff and hopefully follow the scent??? are you sure there aren't any "hidden" or secret spots you haven't checked? I know there were posts of vipers... Be careful.

There was a small pointer down at the Manolya hotel, probably not yours but maybe worth a look. Only turned up today. No collar.

Yes Jonnie, you're absolutely correct. Yesterday we could see a small brown and white pointer running about on the terrace of Manolya and down by the sea. We were on Terrace of Hanimella and could see it quite clearly. It was dashing around all over the place. Zumba, it might be a good idea if you were to pop down to the Hotel. It isn't that far from where you describe.

Re: Dog Missing Lapta Area
I have just seen a pointer type dog on the Lapta edge of Karsiyaka. It was medium size and largely white with brown patches. It crossed the track in front of me and I could see it hanging around in the bushes but not clearly enough to see if it had a collar or what sex. I did have that 'lost' look (as I said it is just hanging about) and I have never seen it before around here. I will need to describe to you where it was so I have PM'd you my phone no as I see you are not online and nobody answered the number from your fitness ad.

Re: Dog Missing Lapta Area
Dear All,
Unfortunately the Dog down at Manolya is a male dog and has been down there for quite some time....Although looks like one from our bunch , he is not.
As for the sighting at Karsiyaka.we went that evening and morning and no sign of Lulu, but we spoke to another gentleman and he pointed out a male white and brown hunting dog like lulu had been hanging around. I wonder if he was who you saw that evening JBA....thank you all for your help.
the search is still on if you see of anything please contact me

The dog at the Manolya is female and has been there only a few days. It is the only dog there. I work there it was there this morning.

Re: Dog Missing Lapta Area
I'm absolutely delighted that you have a happy ending. I suggest you give her a strict talking to just to let her know not to do it again. Perhaps you should put a tag with a contact number on her pink collar, just in case.

Why not let her in the house, then she might not run away again.

So glad she is back, but please don't let her run around she could get poisoned or run over.
