Does anyone know the opening times of the olive press at Ozankoy? I have seen the big banner sign over the door as I drove though the village but not sure when they are open.

If anyone knows as from memory the guy speaks Turkish only.

I have just been to see if the press in Ozankoy is working. The doors were open but it has not been operating recently nor could I raise any response.
I did ask the car mechanics next door who spoke good English but they did not know when or if it would be operating soon.

Has anyone the details of the press at Karalanaloo ( sorry for misspelling )?

Our olive trees don't have many olives at all this year. Not sure there is enough to be worth picking. Seems to be a bad year

The olive press at Ozankoy is closed indefinately.

According to my TC hubby, for some unknown reason olives are in short supply this year.

If you can harvest and get some pressed, apparently the oil will be in great demand and could be sold for as much as 60/70tl per litre.
Remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Thanks for that info.

I found the olive press at Karaoglanoglu , a few doors from Ian Smith`s Estate Agents and there was a phone number on the door. 05428520677

The note says they are open Wednesdays/ Saturdays/Sundays.

Rang the number and man spoke good English and said they are open tomorrow from 0800 till 1700hrs.

He said they are open this weekend.

Not sure where there are any other presses.
