My friend is wanting to reupholster an antique chair and is looking to purchase hessian webbing. Does anyone know where she might start looking for this?

An upholsterer would be a good starting point, and there are plenty around. i don't know where your friend lives, but there's a very good upholsterer in Alsancak opposite Cafe Fast Food.

Thank you fatouch for your reply, my friend lives in the Esentepe area, so somewhere east of Girne would be better
for her. She doesn't really want to go to an upholsterer as she thinks they might try and talk her into doing the chair
for her and she really wants to try to do this herself as a project.

Try Mermaid fabrics Karakum. they do re-upholstery so may sell her some.
