New cocktail invented

Went to Manipenni (not sure of spelling) for lunch today. Usually the service is good. Today it was appalling, if they could get it wrong they did. However we did get a laugh. My friend asked for a small carafe of red wine. The waiter had a glazed look, so we knew that boded ill. Then he turned up with a glass of red wine, with two pieces of carrot, standing up in it!!!!!! I think that saved the day! Any suggestions for this new cocktail?

I found this story hilarious. BUT... we really should be speaking Turkish. We wouldn't expect British born waiters in UK to be able to take orders in Turkish, in that respect we are most arrogant. Having said that, we tried to learn, and every time we tried out our Turkish, the waiter turned out to be either Pakistani or Russian and didn't understand a word we said!

I agree, and we did try to speak a little Turkish,( didn't know the word for carafe) even pointing to the item on the menu as well. The waiter did apologise saying he understood carrot!!
I did give us a laugh.
