Black eared wheatear - traditional stone wall
Look out for this little bird, black and white, if you have a traditional stone wall. The nest is IN the wall and the entrance the smallest hole possible. The little family is living rather dangerous. The next door neighbor is a lizard and from time to time a snake. The birds hunts for food much like a swallow and they are having a feast in my garden. Really looking forward to see the baby birds

There is a very interesting site where you can find out more information re birds and other wildlife of North Cyprus. The KUSKOR website where you can record your sightings. I think, not certain they are something to do with the NCSPBN, North Cyprus Society for the Protection of birds and Nature.
Remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

I am a member of Kuşkor, that is how I learned the name of that bird. I also bought Bird of the mediterranean. Have so far not found any good book about bird with turkish names as well, but no problem as long as you have the internet.
