Any one know if the hotels are offering special deals?I have looked on a few web sites but nothing showing there.

There has been some offers in Cyprus Today recently but not sure if that is just Christmas or whether it was NY too.

I'd suggest contacting the hotels directly. The big ones like Merit and Cratos may be booked up already, but I'm sure some of the smaller hotels still have space they want to fill. I got a good deal at the Colony last year by calling them up, though I think it was October when I booked.
