Be aware in the Zafer Sok area of Catalkoy

I posted on the watch out ladies thread, last night, about a prowler in our garden.
Having spoken to our TC neighbour this morning he said he has been finding footprints in the flower beds under his windows and has been clearing them and monitoring the situation.
Having heard about our visitor last night he is now calling the police and installing security lights.
Be aware if you live in the area between the Post office and the main coast road (ie; The Zafer Sok area that joins the main road at Happy Vally) that someone is out and about after dark where they shouldn't be.

we had a prowler about 3 week ago heard them rattle the doors, they returned 3 nights later about 0230 we pressume tooled up, they set of our alarm must have s**t themselves. we now have cctv fitted, we are catalkoy near malpas.

He was clearly scared of our dogs and I left them to to their job when he didn't answer me.
If he does return he will meet our largest dog who he has not yet seen as it was in the house with me.
In the meantime we too are upping security measures.
A real shame as I have always felt safe here even when I have been in the house on my own.

I want to put extra locks on my patio doors but the local window man doesnt do them Any one know some one?

The Aluminium shop in Catalkoy village put some good locks on our windows

There is a locksmith who used to be in Tin Pan Alley, he has now moved to a new shop near Girne hospital , he put the locks on all out patio doors for us.
