Dawn Sings at New Hotel & Restaurant In Karsiyaka

A new Boutique hotel and restaurant has very recently opened in Karsiyaka. The Haseki Hürrem, has chalets open now and the rooms in the main hotel will open closer to the summer next year along with a spa offering a massage room, a hamam and a sauna. The pool area is also very nice and the chalets and restaurant are very well appointed.

The restaurant's chef has joined them from Niazi's main Girne restaurant, and the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

With Dawn singing on Saturday evening, my wife and I have booked a table and will be able to offer a comment on quality of food and service on this thread afterwards.

Dawn is also booked to sing on Christmas Day evening following a traditional Christmas Day lunch. The 5 course lunch will begin with a welcome drink before the soup/smoked salmon/pate starter and a main course of traditional roast turkey and/or roast pork with all the trimmings. The dessert will be Christmas pudding or sticky toffee pudding and this will be followed by mince pies and a cheese board tea or coffee and brandy.

Directions: If coming from the Lapta direction drive past the square and Izzy's Sparks DIY shop on the right and follow the hotel sign at the next left hand turn.

I hasten to add that I have nothing to do with the hotel; I am just a Karsiyaka resident who is delighted to have a new classy hotel and restaurant in the village.

Will be really interested to hear your opinion on the food and service. Am looking for a good restaurant for Christmas Day lunch and won't be there until 22 December to check places out. Hope you enjoy your meal and that the food is delicious!

Has anyone tried the restaurant at the above hotel yet please? Would be good to have some upfront information as to quality of food for maybe Christmas Day lunch..but won't be arriving until 22.

Have now been a couple of times to this restaurant and the food was very good. In the early days I had discussions with the management team there about portion size and the service but things improved. Other friends have eaten there and thought it excellent. My wife and I have booked to go for Christmas Lunch.

Thank you so much..we will book for Christmas Lunch as its so close to us, and as just the two of us will be nice to see folks around on the big day. A previous year we came I offered to cook the lunch for friends at our place...the electricity went off for 8 hours!
