I do hope I'm not passing on misinformation, but I was told this morning that Peggy had died during the night. If this is true then its the end of an era for the TRNC.

I too heard the sad news that Peggy had died peacefully at her home in Karmi.

106 years old...amazing. Paragliding at 100 and again at 104!!!

Sincere condolences to her daughter and her family.

Indeed very sad news but what a wonderfully full life Peggy had. Our thoughts are with Elizabeth and family.

I spoke to Peggy's daughter Elizabeth this morning, she confirmed that she was with her dear mother when she passed away peacefully, yesterday morning.

Peggy was a lovely, lively lady and an inspiration to us all. RIP.

Peggy's funeral is at the old greek cemetary in Karmi at 2.00pm on Friday 13th December.
